New Year New Stuff

NEW NEW NEW!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The new year has me thinking about OLD STUFF rather than New stuff. (Weird I know)
OLD OLD OLD

Here’s a few constructive thoughts for you.

MAKE ROOM FOR NEW STUFF.
This goes for the mental space in your life. Clear out old ways of thinking about things. Tell yourself a healthier narrative. Be kind to yourself. Choose to be braver than you were last year. (Read a Brene Brown book - that will challenge you with adjusting your mental space…you’re welcome).

Also, not just mental stuff. Physical space. Throw out stuff you’re not using anymore. Bring things to the thrift store. Make a trip to the dump. Don’t keep broken things. Move items along! (24HR bid?!) Leave a shelf bare (gasp! I dare you!) You need to make room for NEW STUFF!

We took a bit of time in the last couple weeks to move some of our items along too. Rearrange storage areas to make them more functional. We made the hallway easier to move through (less boxes cluttering our way) and created room on shelves for days to come. I was thinking of creating some “Flea Market event” and then I could invite you to look through our old stuff…but decided against that. I choose the thrift store option and I feel glad about it.

Yes, there’s other NEW STUFF you can commit too (as it’s a new year) and there is incredible value to setting NEW GOALS and making plans to achieve them. I’ll leave those things in your court, however, I would love to influence you to consider your OLD STUFF and making room for NEW STUFF!

So, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Great days ahead of us and old days behind us!

Cheers to you!
